A variety of e-Learning platforms exist, each with its own strengths and limitations. HSeT leverages a combination of specialized systems to optimize content creation, delivery, and public communication.

Content Management System (CMS)

HSeT uses a proprietary, password-protected Content Management System (CMS) to create, manage, and publish content and learning activities. Built on a Microsoft .NET platform with an Oracle-based database operated via Microsoft SQL, our CMS offers:

    • Web-based publishing and format management
    • Revision control and indexing
    • Advanced search and retrieval capabilities
    • Centralized maintenance and administration

The HSeT CMS hosts partner websites, customized portals, and associated eLearning activities. It supports all phases of e-Learning, from content development and pilot testing to full-scale implementation, providing comprehensive tracking, reporting, and course delivery functionalities.

Learning Management System (LMS)

For delivering and tracking online courses, HSeT uses Moodle, an open-source learning platform widely adopted for educational websites. Moodle offers extensive customization through plugins, themes, and extensions, allowing HSeT to tailor the platform to specific teaching and learning objectives. When requested by partners, Moodle is integrated with HSeT’s CMS to access and deliver content and learning activities securely.

Public Communication Platform

For public-facing websites, HSeT uses WordPress, a flexible and widely adopted platform known for its ease of use and extensive customization options. This allows HSeT to maintain accessible, engaging, and professional communication channels with learners and partners.
