The Bachelor of medicine program of the Mauritius University created by the University of Geneva Medical School in collaboration with the Health Sciences eTraining Foundation (HSeT) has been launched in 2015.
Presently three online modules on 1/ Heart, Kidney and Lung, 2/ Defense & Immunity and Infection, 3/ Cell growth & aging, Digestion, Nutrition & Metabolism, and Reproduction have been completed. They consist of cases based on a problem-based learning approach.

Each module is assessed by an exam and the success rate is around 95%.

The University of Lausanne (UNIL) is offering an International Master in Vaccinology (IMVACC) developed by the Swiss Vaccine Research Institute (SVRI) and the Health Sciences e-Training Foundation (HSeT) in collaboration with the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV).

The closure meeting of the first year for the class 2016 of IMVACC took place on September 4 to 6, 2017 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The four trainees are now starting to work on their master thesis which is expected to be completed in September 2018.

The five trainees that registered for the class 2018 have started the program on January first 2018.

Master of Advanced Studies in Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine

Master of Advanced Studies in Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine (University of Bern):

The pilot course with the first group started last year in spring. All students of the first cohort have already successfully completed three modules, one focusing on research and development, one on quality management and GMP and one on intellectual property. This spring they will start with module 4 “regulatory affairs” and continue the module 6, which is about biomedical entrepreneurship.

A new second cohort will start this April 2018 with module 1 (research and development).

The fourth edition of the Workshop on Surveillance and Control of Rabies will be held in Amol, Iran from October 8 to 19, 2017, in the line of the previous courses organized in Dakar, Senegal in 2013, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2015 and in Yaoundé, Cameroon in 2016.

This course is organized by the Pasteur Institute of Iran with the support of the Institut Pasteur in Paris, the Department of Biochemistry, of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, the Health Sciences eTraining Foundation (HSeT), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the PREDEMICS consortium in collaboration with the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Global The fourth edition of Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC).

This workshop will gather physicians, veterinarians and specialists in virology or epidemiology from Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa for a 11-day on site course following a 4-month period of pre-training delivered by e-Learning. This course will be an exceptional opportunity for mixing experience and knowledge between international experts on rabies and young professionals involved locally, nationally or regionally in the control of rabies.
